Sport and PE at Ravenbank Primary School is highly regarded amongst the staff and children. We achieved the 'Platinum' Sainsbury's School Games Mark in recognition of all the hard work the children and staff have done in all areas of the PE curriculum as well as the success achieved across a range of sports competitions in local, district and regional events. This 'Platinum' mark has been awarded due to the continued progress the school has made since holding the gold award for the past five consecutive years.
Part of this success is due to the PE Funding provided by the Government to improve provision of physical education and sport in primary schools.
